Dulquer Salmaan announces the release date of ‘Pyali’ on NF Varghese’s 20th death anniversary

June 19 marks the death anniversary of veteran Malayalam actor NF Varghese, and actor Dulquer Salmaan has announced the release date of ‘Pyali’, which is the first production venture from the late actor’s family. Launching the motion poster of ‘Pyali’, Dulquer Salmaan also announced the release date of the film. “Today marks 20 years since we lost NF Varghese : The legendary actor par excellence. While remembering him in our hearts, we Wayfarer Films and NF Varghese Pictures, are super excited to bring you the incredible story of 'Pyali' #Pyali Worldwide Release On July 8����, ��������,” Dulquer Salmaan wrote on his social media handle.

‘Pyali’ is helmed by debutant directors Babita and Rinn, and child actor Barbiee Sharma has roped in to play the lead role. Speaking to ETimes earlier, the director duo shared, “The movie is about Pyali and her brother Ziyah (played by newbie George Jacob). The title ‘Pyali’ is the name of the protagonist. Pyali is a five-year-old girl, who has a Kashmiri origin. Child actor Barbiee Sharma aka Arravya Sharma is essaying the character Pyali. ‘Pyali’ discusses the bond between the siblings and how they survive and overcome several obstacles in their life. The fact that kids are playing the lead parts, doesn’t mean the targeted audience are children. I feel we adults can connect with the beauty of the film more than the kids. The movie has elements of drama, adventure and thriller.”

Actors Sreenivasan, Mamukkoya, Harisree Ashokan, Sadiq, Rafi, Appani Sarath, and Sujith Shankar are part of the cast. The film will be hitting the cinemas worldwide on July 8.
