Dulquer Salmaan launches a new poster of ‘Salute’; pens a heartwarming note

Dulquer Salmaan has launched the latest poster of his forthcoming movie ‘

’ along with a heartwarming note.

It has been a while since most of us have visited the cinema halls. And in the midst of pandemic, when we are battling the deadly virus, entertainment has become a non-essential factor. But let’s not forget the fact that cinema has always been instrumental in making our days better and it will do so in this instance too.

Salmaan’s note reflects the same. The actor seems to have shared a poster on his Instagram handle as a little distraction in the midst of all the chaos and has mentioned ‘this too shall pass’ in the note.

“Some day when all this passes, we will get back to making movies that you all want to watch. And when you do, maybe, just maybe, for those brief moments it will be like none of this ever happened. #staystrong #staysafe #weshallovercome #thistooshallpass #salute #justalittledistraction,” Dulquer Salmaan wrote.

The note also suggests that ‘Salute’ will be released in the theatres when the pandemic situation settles down.

Meanwhile, ‘Salute’ is an upcoming Malayalam movie helmed by Rosshan Andrrews. Expected to be a cop thriller, the film features Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. He will be stepping into the shoes of the character SI Aravind Karunakaran. The script for ‘Salute’ is crafted by the popular screenwriter duo Bobby-Sanjay.


Bollywood actress Diana Penty has roped in to play a pivotal role in the film. Actors Manoj K Jayan, Lakshmi Gopalaswami, Alencier Ley Lopez, and

will be seen playing some of the pivotal characters in the film.
