Dulquer Salmaan starrer 'King Of Kotha,' which was released theatrically on August 24, ahead of Onam is heading for its digital premiere. After its successful run in the cinemas, the film is all set to premiere on an OTT platform. If reports are to be believed, the gangster drama will start streaming on Hotstar by the end of September, 2023. The official confirmation regarding the same is yet to arrive.
Dulquer Salmaan, known for his exceptional acting prowess and unique choice of roles, is playing a gangster in 'King Of Kotha.' Helmed by Abhilash Joshiy, ‘King of Kotha’ is mounted on a massive budget. The film also has Aishwarya Lekshmi, Dancing Rose Shabeer, Gokul Suresh, Prasanna, Nyla Usha, and Chemban Vinod in pivotal roles. The film also has Shammi Thilakan, Shanthi Krishna, Vada Chennai Saran, and Anikha Surendran in important roles. ‘King Of Kotha’ has a run time of 175.58 mts.
The story revolves around Kannan, also known as Kannan bhai, who rules the town with his gang and illegal activities. A righteous circle inspector, Shahul Hassan, arrives and confronts Kannan, leading to his humiliation. Seeking unconventional revenge, Shahul resurrects Raju, a once-notorious criminal who once ruled Kotha alongside Kannan.
Dulquer Salmaan had managed to entice the movie buffs with his outstanding performance as Raju. The actor’s avatar as well as character in the film, is something he hasn’t attempted before.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, Dulquer Salmaan will be next seen in 'Othiram Kadakam' directed by Soubin Shahir. If reports are to be believed, the team is working on its pre-production. The actor is yet to announce his next in Malayalam.
