Durga Krishna starts dubbing for ‘Olavum Theeravum’
Durga Krishna, who is playing the leading lady in ‘Olavum Theeravum’ has begun dubbing for her portions in the film. The young actress took to her social media handle to share the update with her fans. ‘Olavum Theeravum’ is a segment directed by Priyadarshan featuring Mohanlal, for an upcoming anthology based on MT Vasudevan Nair’s short stories. The makers wrapped up the shooting on July 17 and the post-productions works of the film are progressing.
Durga Krishna took to her social media handle and shared a picture taken with Mohanlal and Priyadarshan and captioned, “#olavumtheeravum Dubbing Started!@priyadarshan.official @mohanlal.”
The upcoming anthology reportedly has nine segments, of which two are helmed by Priyadarshan.
Meanwhile, Durga Krishna who is essaying the role of Nabeesa in the film, earlier told Kochi Times, “When the team called and said I was being paired with Lalettan, I had butterflies in my stomach from the excitement. It was also a dream to appear in a frame of Santosh Sivan sir and to be directed by Priyadarshan sir. For it to all come together in one film, with a script by MT sir, left me wonderstruck. I play Nabeesa and Lalettan plays Baputty, which was played by Madhu sir in the 1960 version of the film. My role had been played by Usha Nandini. It is amazing to be paired with Lalettan so early in my career. I have worked with him in Ram, but I play his sister in that. Nabeesa is a character that I will cherish for all my career. She is a very innocent girl and I am enjoying being her; the way she talks, walks and expresses herself.”
