Hollywood star Jimmy Jean-Louis is currently basking in the success of his debut Indian film ‘Aadujeevitham’ starring Prithviraj Sukumaran. His portrayal of Ibrahim Khadiri, a godsend character in Najeeb’s (played by Prithviraj Sukumaran) life in the film, has earned him acclaim.
Jimmy, known for his exceptional performances in ‘Heroes’, ‘The Bourne Identity’, and ‘Tears of the Sun’, among others is set to debut as an author.
In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Jimmy Jean-Louis spoke about his upcoming book. “I've been writing for the past year and it's ready now. I'm doing the final edits, reading, and correcting. So maybe in the next few months hopefully I'll be able to present it to the world,” Jimmy Jean-Louis said.
When asked if his book is a memoir, he added, “It's something like a memoir. I have always been asked to write something about my life for the past 20 years. And somehow last year, I took the time to pen it down. So, yeah, it's a bit of a memoir.”
Jimmy’s life off-screen itself is inspiring. From being born in Haiti in underprivileged circumstances to building his life and career, conquering the Hollywood dream, and contributing to society, the charming actor’s life story is inspirational.
Jimmy Jean-Louis also spoke about his upcoming projects, “I have a handful of movies that will be coming out soon in the States, some in the Spanish-speaking countries and some in the African continent. And I am most excited about my book, it's personal.”
Meanwhile, ‘Aadujeevitham’, directed by Blessy, is running successfully in the cinemas.
