EXCLUSIVE! Dulquer Salmaan is filming for his next in Kashmir

Last year, on July 28, when Dulquer Salmaan celebrated his 34th birthday, a few interesting projects of the actor were announced and one among them was the trilingual period love story, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Earlier this day, Dulquer Salmaan had shared a couple of videos of the beautiful landscape of Kashmir, on his social media handle. And sources close to the film have now confirmed to us that the actor has arrived at the chilling city to shoot for Hanu Raghavapudi’s film! Dulquer Salmaan has jetted off to Kashmir to join the shoot!

Lieutenant Ram

in the film and speaking to us earlier, the filmmaker has revealed that the story is set in 1964. Hanu Raghavapudi had also shared that the role of Ram was ‘tailor-made’ for Dulquer Salmaan and they couldn’t think of anyone else other than the charming star for the role!

The yet-to-be-titled film is historical fiction and a love story, that has got an army backdrop. The director had early shared with us that the film has a lot of action sequences and the film will be shot extensively in Kashmir.

The Dulquer Salmaan starrer is backed by Priyanka Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies, who have earlier collaborated with the actor for ‘Mahanati’. The film will be releasing in three languages - Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil.

Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan had recently wrapped up the shoot of ‘Salute’ his upcoming Malayalam film helmed by Rosshan Andrrews. The stylish star will be essaying a cop, SI Aravind Karunakaran in the film, and Bollywood diva Diana Penty too is part of the cast.
