Actress Anumol recently wrapped up the shoot of ‘Taya’, a Sanskrit film. While working on the film, Anumol also got the golden chance to share the screen with thespian Nedumudi Venu. In an exclusive conversation with ETimes, Anumol shares her experience working with Nedumudi Venu. “Nedumudi Venu is a genius actor. His talent and experience are beyond limits and the best part is that he would share those experiences with his co-stars. While shooting for ‘Taya’ he helped me a lot in bringing my best. When we had combination scenes, he used to enact my portions. He would give me suggestions on how to boost the feminine body language, or how to improve my postures when my character is walking or standing or involved in an activity. He would notice even minute details like my eye movements or expressions,” Anumol shared. The ‘Taya’ actress also added that working with such veterans itself is a blessing as it would help her to evolve as an actor. “Traditional mundu (dhoti) and blouse were my costumes in the film as the story takes place in the 19th century. Nedumudi Venu sir told me how women in those days used to carry such outfits. Nedumudi Venu beautifully choreographed my scenes in ‘Taya’,” she added.
Anumol also shared that Nedumudi Venu was a jovial co-star to work with, “As my name is Anumol, he used to tease me that I am a mol (daughter) to all! So we also had those fun moments on set. And he makes you extremely comfortable. His experience with cinema is priceless, and perhaps that’s why he puts his co-stars at ease while working.”Anumol signed off by sharing that working with Nedumudi Venu is one of the moments in her showbiz life that she truly treasures.
