First look of Tovino Thomas as Jathin Ramdas in ‘L2: Empuraan’ unveiled on his birthday

Marking Tovino Thomas' 36th birthday, the much-anticipated first-look poster of his character, Jathin Ramdas, from ‘L2: Empuraan’ was unveiled by Mollywood icons Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

‘L2: Empuraan’s director Prithviraj Sukumaran took to his Instagram handle to share the poster. He shared a note along with the post that read, “Happy Birthday Jathin! #TovinoThomas Power…is an illusion! #L2E #EMPURAAN #March27”


Mohanlal shared the poster via his Instagram handle with a note that read, “Happy birthday Jathin! #TovinoThomas Power…is an illusion! Malayalam | Tamil | Telugu | Kannada | Hindi.”

The post was soon flooded with comments from movie buffs who are eagerly waiting for the most-awaited film to hit the big screens on March 27. One comment read, “Who is Stephen's father, let it stay there, I am Stephen's younger brother (referring to movie dialog)” Referring to another dialog from ‘Lucifer’, an user commented, “If you came after I called... I know how to let you down... Who said I came because you called... I came after my brother told me...!! Happy Birthday Tovino Thomas”. Another comment read, “Finally the son of God has come.”
