'Padavettu' has a bunch of interesting factors including Nivin Pauly collaborating with Mollywood’s Lady Superstar Manju Warrier. The movie also marks the maiden production venture of actor Sunny Wayne. And Nivin Pauly has put a lot of effort into the project. The actor had to go for a major body transformation by gaining weight to fit into the character. The pictures from the movie, where Nivin was seen in a pot-belly avatar went viral earlier.

‘Padavettu’ is directed by debutant Liju Krishna. The movie is backed by Sunny Wayne under the banner of Sunny Wayne Productions and Surya Films. Deepak D Menon is cranking the lens and Shefeek Muhamed Ali is managing the edits. Govind Vasantha, who has won hearts with his songs in ‘96’, will be handling the music department for 'Padavettu'. Starring Nivin Pauly, the movie also has actors Manju Warrier and Shine Tom Chacko in pivotal roles. Aditi Balan of ‘Aruvi’ fame has roped in to play the female lead.
