This year’s edition also saw a few first-time Filmfare attendees including Aparna, Anthony Varghese, Srindaa and
Gayathri Suresh. Aparna made the most of it by putting up a mesmerising show, dazzling in her blue attire and also going onstage to accept an award and giving a short and sweet speech. While Anthony said that he was excited “to be with the stars that he has only watched on TV”, Gayathri remarked that “it was an honour even to walk the Filmfare red carpet”.
The cynosure of all eyes though was
Priyadarshan and
Lissy
’s daughter Kalyani, who accompanied her mother at the show. You could see the excitement in her eyes as she took a selfie with AR Rahman and also kept nudging her mom whenever a star walked in.
