Amidst the arrival of new cinematic offerings like 'Falimy' and 'Bandra,' Suresh Gopi's gripping thriller 'Garudan' continues to command attention at the box office as it rakes in more than Rs 14 crores.
According to the sources, 'Garudan' has amassed an impressive collection of nearly Rs 14.85 crores within a span of 17 days, demonstrating its consistent hold and appeal among audiences. Even during its third weekend in theaters, the movie managed to rake in around Rs 1.15 crores, showcasing its enduring popularity.
The film's success isn't limited to domestic territories alone. Reports also highlight Garudan's strong performance in the Gulf region, where it has grossed over Rs 7.5 crores (3.3M AED) until now, emphasizing its global resonance and appeal.
Directed by Arun Varma in his directorial debut and penned by Midhun Manuel Thomas, 'Garudan' delves into the investigation led by honest Kerala Police officer DCP Harish Madhav, portrayed by Suresh Gopi, centered around college professor Nishanth Kumar.
The film's musical scores by Jakes Bejoy, coupled with the cinematography by Ajay David Kachappilly and editing by Sreejith Sarang, have contributed to the overall immersive experience.
Alongside Suresh Gopi and Biju Menon, the movie boasts a talented ensemble cast including Siddique, Jagadish, Thalaivasal Vijay, Dileesh Pothan, Abhirami, Divya Pillai, Arjun Nandhakumar, Nishanth Sagar, Major Ravi, and Jayan Cherthala.
Notably, ‘Garudan’ marks the final appearance of Kalabhavan Haneef.
