'Garudan' OTT release: When and where to watch Suresh Gopi’s legal thriller

The much-acclaimed courtroom drama "Garudan," featuring powerhouse performers Suresh Gopi and Biju Menon, has started its OTT premiere on Amazon Prime Video.

Directed by debutant filmmaker Arun Varma and scripted by the renowned writer Midhun Manuel Thomas, the film initially hit the silver screens on November 3, garnering immense applause from audiences and amassing over Rs 16 crores within a swift span of 21 days.


The narrative of "Garudan" delves into a compelling legal battle entwined between two formidable characters: Harish Madhav, portrayed by Suresh Gopi, an assertive cop, and Nishant, played by Biju Menon, a principled professor. The clash between their ideologies, with one fighting for integrity while the other grappling for justice, forms the crux of this gripping courtroom saga.

The film navigates through the intense rivalry between the cop and the professor, interwoven with the cop's relentless pursuit to crack a complex case that has confounded many. Joining the stellar performances of Gopi and Menon are a talented ensemble cast, including Siddique, Jagadish, Thalaivasal Vijay, Dileesh Pothan, Abhirami, Divya Pillai, Arjun Nandhakumar, Nishanth Sagar, and Major Ravi.

On the other hand, Suresh Gopi’s previous outing was with the comedy drama film ‘Mei Hoom Moosa’ that was directed by Jibu Jacob.
