​Bangalore Days

Dulquer Salmaan essayed Arjun aka Aju in the 2014 release ‘Bangalore Days’. The movie was directed by Anjali Menon and had a young bunch of actors as the lead. Dulquer played one of the three cousins’ in the movie. Talking about his role in the film, Aju is a non-conformist, free bird but is attached to his two cousins Kuttan (Nivin Pauly) and Kunju (Nazriya Nazim). Dulquer effortlessly brought Aju into life and proved his potential as an actor.

​Charlie

The 2015 release is one of the must-watch movies if you are a fan of Dulquer Salmaan. You will simply fall in love with the nomad Charlie. Directed by Martin Prakat, Dulquer Salmaan essayed the titular in the movie. The young actor invested his best into the character Charlie and lit the screen with his vibrant aura. From creating a body language to the character to bringing the charm in every frame of the movie, Dulquer Salmaan aced the character with sheer acting chops.

Dulquer Salmaan transformed into an angry young man for the 2016 movie ‘Kali’. Helmed by director Sameer Thahir, the movie was about the anger of Sidharth. Dulquer Salmaan played Sidharth, the young husband, who is short-tempered and has anger issues. Dulquer exactly knew what the filmmaker wanted and concentrated on his micro-expressions and mannerisms to get into the skin of the character. He gave a excellent performance in the movie and you should watch the movie right now.

​Kammatipaadam

Rajeev Ravi’s directorial ‘Kammatipaadam’ was a challenging project for Dulquer Salmaan. He had to play the three different stages in the life of the character Krishnan and the movie also demanded some real action from the young star. From the romance to the intense fights, Dulquer Salmaan slayed the role well. ‘Kammatipaadam’ is a movie worth watching for both Dulquer Salmaan’s performance and the movie as a whole.

Solo

As mentioned earlier, Dulquer Salmaan was always open to experiments. When filmmaker Bejoy Nambiar approached him for 'Solo', Dulquer Salmaan readily accepted. He was so eager and excited to play the part, as the movie is an anthology and Dulquer had to play four different characters in the movie. In the segment 'World of Shekhar', he was Shekhar, a young and lovable guy who falls for Radhika (Sai Dhansika). For 'World of Trilok', he had to transform into Trilok Menon, a veterinary surgeon, who seeks revenge for his wife's murder. And for 'World of Siva', he stepped into the shoes of Siva, a gangster who has a broken past. While in 'World of Rudra' he was this impulsive young man Rudra, who would do anything to win his lady love. ‘Solo’ is also one of the must-watch Malayalam movies of Dulquer Salmaan.
