Aishwarya Lekshmi has signed in to play a pivotal role in Mani Ratnam’s ambitious upcoming film ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. Being part of a Mani Ratnam film is every actor’s dream and Aishwarya Lekshmi is living the dream. The gorgeous actress has earlier revealed that she is playing a sweet character in Ponniyin Selvan and we cannot wait to see her!

‘Mayanadhi’ directed by Aashiq Abu is a significant movie in Aishwarya Lekshmi’s career. The film has helped her shape a career in the entertainment industry and is also so far her best performance. Aishwarya Lekshmi essayed the lead character alongside Tovino Thomas and the dynamic duo are reuniting for ‘Kaanekkane’. Manu Ashokan, who has previously delivered ‘Uyare’ is donning the director’s cap for ‘Kaanekkane’ and the film also has National Award-winning actor Suraj Venjaramoodu in the lead role.

Aishwarya Lekshmi has signed to play the titular in an upcoming Malayalam film ‘Kumari’. The film is helmed by Nirmal Sahadev of ‘Ranam’ fame and is touted to be a mythological horror thriller. The film is backed by Supriya Menon of Prithviraj Productions and the first look motion poster itself is promising. Aishwarya Lekshmi confessed that the story has given her sleepless nights and it is worth the wait. “Presenting KUMARI A story that has given me sleepless nights for the enormity of its setting and scope … A tale that will take us back to our earliest memories of storytelling... Absolutely thrilled to be a part of this collaboration !!! Thrilled to be playing #KUMARI,” Aishwarya Lekshmi said sharing the motion poster.

Aishwarya Lekshmi has chosen to give the comedy genre a try with ‘Archana 31 Not Out’. She plays Archana, a primary school teacher who has been through 31 pennu kaanal (marriage proposal) functions. The film will present the quirkiest Aishu and the director of the film Akhil Anilkumar has confirmed that ‘Archana 31 Not Out’ is a slice of life movie.

Aishwarya Lekshmi, who has already proved her acting prowess in Malayalam and Tamil movies is all set to make her debut in Telugu cinema with 'Godse'. She will be sharing the screen with Satyadev in the film. The film is directed by Gopi Ganesh Pattabhi and is expected to be an action thriller.
