. The actor who played the lead in Mankolangal released in 2000 for which he also wrote the script was appreciated for his acting caliber back then. The movie had won the Kerala State Film Award for the Best Debut Director, the FIPRESCI award at the International Film Festival of Kerala 2001, and honours at a film festival in Bangladesh.

The sneak-peak of Rameshan Oru Peralla, directed by Canada based theatre person Sujith Vignehswar gives you a glimpse of the actor's unrecognized talent. It features Manikandan and Devendranath Sankaranarayanan.
