Priya Prakash Varrier is headlining Ranjith Sankar’s upcoming directorial ‘4 Years’. The first look poster of the film was launched on Tuesday (Nov 1) via social media. The poster features Priya Prakash Varrier and Sarjano Khalid hugging each other passionately. “Presenting to you the first look poster of this very special film��Stay tuned for the trailer! In theatres near you very soon,” Priya Prakash Varrier said, sharing the first look.

Speaking to Kochi Times earlier, director Ranjith Sankar had confirmed that the film is a ‘pure love story’. “This is a simple story that will be reflective of current times, so the love is demonstrated in a way that is different from even before Covid. It is more intense and more physical. I am making it for an audience of 18 to 30-year-olds. I don’t know if those in the older age bracket would be able to digest this; in fact, it could be a bit controversial by Kerala standards. But that is the reality. There are barely any love stories made nowadays, so I think if it is well made, it will have an audience. That is what is driving me. This is also a musical, with seven beautiful songs composed by Sankar Sharma, he said.
He further added, “Emotions are the same, though it might be expressed in a different way. There is some fear about making it, but that’s a good thing, because it will keep me on my toes.”
The film will be hitting the cinemas on November 25.
