I miss making Onam music albums: Vijay Yesudas

For me, the most wonderful memory of Onam is when we used to record Onam music albums a month or two ahead of the festival, and the preparations for it. I was launched into the industry with an Onam album so it's always special. The market is different now and I miss them. Maybe next year my dad and I will come back with an Onam album.

Onam at home in Chennai has always been a simple affair. But some of my recent Onams in Trivandrum have been elaborate, thanks to my wife's mom and grandmom who make awesome sadyas. And there are a bunch of talented youngsters who put a breathtaking design of athappookkalam at home.
