Murali Gopy has teamed up for several movies such as
Ee Adutha Kaalathu
, Kaanchi and Tiyaan, and each of their ventures have been as different as chalk and cheese. Recently, the team of
Thakkol
released the first look poster of their upcoming venture.
The movie directed by Kiran Prabhakar has both the actors playing
priests
. The poster shows Murali Gopy as the senior one while Indrajith follows him.
Indrajith had recently told us, “Thakkol is the story of a priest – from his childhood to his old-age. It’s again a different character because he is diffident and geekish and has a lot of insecurities and inferiority complex. How all these insecurities, that have been part of him since his childhood, affect his relationships when he grows up is what the film is about. It’s a beautifully narrated movie with Murali playing the valiyachan and my character being the kochuachan of the parish. Their relationship is the backbone of the story. As I play several phases of the character, I will be seen in several getups and as an artiste, it was a challenging experience.”
