Indrans requests the
Kerala Chalachitra Academy
Chairman and secretary to be removed from the
Academy Governing Council
. As per the reports, a formal request was sent to the chairman and secretary by Indrans via
Email
.
In the Email, sent by Indrans, the actor says that he feels obliged to be part of such a reputed organization, but since he has acted in several movies and when the cast and crew of those same movies send the films to the committee for the award, he feels that its not morally right to be part of the deciding committee.

Indrans also adds in the Email that he doesn't want to be the reason why someone’s art is being rejected just because of the fact that he is on the deciding committee of Kerala Chalachitra Academy. Earlier in the year 2020, Indrans was nominated for the position, but the actor declined the offer for some reason.
On the other hand, Indrans got much adulation for performing the lead role in the feel-good drama film ‘Home’ which was directed by Rojin Thomas. Indrans played the father character named Oliver Twist in the film that also featured the actors Sreenath Bhasi, Manju Pillai, Naslen, Kainakary Thankaraj, Johny Antony, and Maniyanpilla Raju in pivotal roles.
Meanwhile, Indrans has a host of highly ambitious projects in the pipeline that includes the films ‘Jamalinte Punjiri’, ‘Kannadi Talkies’, ‘Mysore 150 Km’, ‘Udal’, ‘Within Seconds’, ‘Kaapa’, ‘Jackson Bazar Youth’, ‘2403 ft.’, ‘
