Jayaram's thriller ‘Abraham Ozler’s release date changed!

The much-anticipated Malayalam medical thriller "Abraham Ozler," featuring the veteran actor Jayaram, is set to be a cinematic delight. However, cinephiles will have to wait a bit as the film's release date has been subtly shifted from December 2023 to January 11, 2024.

The actress Anaswara Rajan, who plays a pivotal role in the movie, took to her official Facebook handle to share an update regarding the adjusted release date. Accompanied by a poster of "Abraham Ozler," she announced the new release date with a note that read, "January 11, 2024!"


"Abraham Ozler" is promised to be an enthralling Malayalam-language medical thriller directed by the talented filmmaker Midhun Manuel Thomas and written by Randheer Krishnan. The initial release date was slated for December 25, aligning with the festive spirit of Christmas. However, the decision to shift the date to the following month is expected to heighten the anticipation and excitement surrounding the film.

The movie features a noteworthy ensemble cast, with Jayaram in the titular role, alongside talented actors such as Anaswara Rajan, Arjun Ashokan, Senthil Krishna, Arya Salim, Anoop Menon, Jagadish, and Dileesh Pothan. "Abraham Ozler" is eagerly awaited by fans and film enthusiasts, as it marks Jayaram's anticipated comeback in Malayalam cinema after a series of underwhelming films in recent years.

Jayaram's previous cinematic endeavour was his debut in Kannada cinema with the film "Ghost," where he shared the screen with the Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar. Although it was Jayaram’s Kannada debut movie, ‘Ghost’ didn’t get much attention from the Malayali audiences, resulting in its underperformance at the KBO.
