Mollywood director Lal Jose has been following a bumpy road for the past few years as most of his films failed to impress the audience. This year the veteran director came out with a romantic thriller and according to the latest updates, the film is all set to stream via a popular OTT platform from October 1 onwards.

‘Solamante Theneechakal’ hit the big screens on August 18 and mostly received mixed responses from the audience. Although netizens hailed the magnificent performances of Joju George and Vincy Aloshious who played the characters CID Solaman and CPO Glyna Thomas, most of the audience felt that the direction and the storytelling were underwhelming. It can be expected that the film will find its liking after its release on the OTT platform as most netizens said it would work well on miniscreens.
Helmed by the renowned director Lal Jose, ‘Solamante Theneechakal’ is categorized as a romantic thriller and the story is penned by the writer PG Prageesh. Ajmal Sabu handled the cinematography of ‘Solamante Theneechakal’ and the editing section by Ranjan Abraham. Vidyasagar composed the music in this Joju George starrer thriller. The film was produced by the director Lal Jose’s production banner.
Apart from Joju George, ‘Solamante Theneechakal’ also featured the actors Vincy Aloshious, Darshana S Nair, Vincy Aloshious, Shambhu Menon, Addis Antony, Johny Antony, Manikandan Achari, Binu Pappu, Sunil Sukhada and VK Baiju in significant roles.
Meanwhile, the director Lal Jose reportedly said in an interview with online media that he is planning for the sequel to his superhit Dulquer Salmaan starrer ‘Vikramadithyan’.
