Joju George to play a double role in ‘Iratta’, first look poster out!

2023 is upon us and award-winning Malayalam actor Joju George is kick-starting it with an exciting film titled ‘Iratta’. Touted to be a thriller, ‘Iratta’ will feature Joju George in a dual role. Interestingly, the upcoming film will also mark his first-ever project, wherein he will be playing a double role. The title, which is the Malayalam word ‘Iratta’ translates to 'Twins', and Joju George is reportedly playing identical twins in the film.

The makers have launched the first look poster of 'Iratta', which features the multi-faceted talent in two different avatars. Joju George is seen sitting on a chair, clad in a blue shirt and dhoti, while his second avatar features him in the garb of a policeman.

‘Iratta' is directed and scripted by debutant Rohit MG Krishnan. Joju George is playing the lead role in the film while actors Anjali, Srinda, Arya Salim, Sreekanth Murali, Sabumon Abdusamad, and Abhiram will be seen in some pivotal roles.

‘Iratta’ also marks Joju George’s reunion with filmmaker Martin Prakkat after ‘Nayattu’, as the latter is co-producing the upcoming film.

The film has Vijay, who had assisted Samir Thahir, Shyju Khalid, and Gireesh Gangadharan, as its cinematographer, while Jakes Bejoy handles the music department. The lyrics are penned by Anwar Ali. Manu Antony is the editor and Dileep Nath is heading the art team. Sound mixing is done by Rajakrishnan MR and Liju Prabhakar has roped in as the DI colorist. Sameera Saneesh is in charge of the costumes, and the makeup is done by Ronex Xavier. K Rajasekar is in charge of the action choreography.
