Mammootty’s antagonist role takes centre stage
While 'Kalamkaval' boasts an ensemble that includes Vinayakan, Gayatri Arun, Rajisha Vijayan, and Gibin Gopinath, it is Mammootty’s performance as a ruthless antagonist that has become the primary talking point. Fans and critics are calling it one of the most chilling portrayals of his career. It was recently that the superstar impressed the fans and audiences with his stunning antagonist role in 'Bramayugam', and with 'Kalamkaval', Mammootty has yet again showcased his talent at bringing out negative shaded characters.
Mammootty expresses heartfelt gratitude to fans
Following the extraordinary theatrical response, the megastar took to Twitter to acknowledge the love pouring in from audiences. In his words, “Last 2 days have been nothing short of overwhelming. I am truly blown away by the love ‘#Kalamkaval’ has been receiving since its release. Thank you for your trust in my choices.”
Apart from Mammootty, Vinayakan's performance as a cop is also getting wide praises from the audiences.
