'Kanakarajyam' teaser: This Sagar directorial promises heartwarming drama with Indrans and Murali Gopy

The much-anticipated film 'Kanakarajyam,' starring Indrans and Murali Gopy, is set to release on July 5. The makers have now unveiled a teaser for the film which promises a heartwarming family drama.

The teaser opens with Murali Gopy’s character receiving a call from his wife, played by Leona Lishoy. He shouts at her, saying he will call back, and cuts the call abruptly. Witnessing this, Indrans’ character advises him to handle such situations with more gentleness, suggesting he say, "Sweetheart, I will call you back." Taking this advice, when Murali Gopy's wife calls again, he greets her warmly with "Sweetheart," to which she responds kindly, saying, "It’s alright, dear. Take your time."

The film is written and directed by Sagar, and promises to be a touching family drama. Sagar is known for his previous works, 'Sathyam Mathrame Bodhippikku' (2022) and 'Veekam' (2022).

'Kanakarajyam' is based on a real incident that took place in Alappuzha a few years ago.

The technical crew for 'Kanakarajyam' includes cinematographer Abhilash Shankar, editor Ajeesh, and music director Arun Muraleedharan.

The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Sreejith Ravi, Unni Raj, Achuthanandan, James Eliya, Dinesh Prabhakar, Kottayam Ramesh, Rajesh Sharma, Harish Pengan, Remya Suresh, and many others in pivotal roles.
