' and 'Nine' have been supporting the farmers in their protest against the new agricultural bill passed by the central government.Farmers from different states including Punjab and Haryana have marched towards the national capital on their tractor-trolleys and other vehicles to take part in the 'Dilli Chalo', a protest against the bills passed by the central government in September. Wamiqa Gabbi expressed solidarity with the farmers and also shared that she stood with the farmers of India. However, the recent derogatory tweet of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut about an elderly farmer woman had upset Wamiqa. The Malayalam actress shared that she was once a fan of Kangana, however, now she feels embarrassed to have liked her. Wamiqa also referred to Kangana's turning into a woman full of hatred as ‘heartbreaking’.
“Once a fan, now just embarrassed to have ever liked her. Hindu hone ka matlab hi pyaar hai... par jab raavan andar aata hai toh aisa hi ho jata hai insaan shaayad Itna ghamand, krodh aur nafrat. It's heartbreaking to see you turning into this woman who is so full of hatred,” this was Wamiqa Gabbi’s response to Kangana Ranaut’s tweet, where the latter was in a Twitter spat with Punjabi singer-actor

However a few hours later, Wamiqa Gabbi found that she had been blocked by Kangana Ranaut’s team on Twitter. “Well, I’m glad she ‘just’ blocked me. Would have broken my heart more if she had replied the way she has replied to women in her previous other tweets. May God bless you with abundance of love in your heart,” Wamiqa tweeted.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has slammed Kangana with a legal notice for her derogatory tweet calling the aged mother of a farmer as a woman available for Rs 100.
