Kaniha shares throwback pictures from ‘Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja’

Actress Kaniha is an avid social media user and she has now dropped some pictures from one of her most celebrated films ‘Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja’. Kaniha essayed the role of Kaitheri Makkam, the leading lady opposite Mammootty in the film.

Sharing the throwback pictures, Kaniha recalled about the shoot days, and how she loved the lighting, and the no-makeup look.

“These clicks from the movie 'Pazhassiraja' are so special. Absolutely love the lighting, the tone, the no make up period look. Each frame looked like a live painting,” Kaniha said.

She further added, “With this movie I lived my dream of starring in a period biopic film. A million thanks to Director Hariharan Sir. A popular actor, Kaniha has worked in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films. Her films including ‘Bhagyadevatha’, ‘Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja’, ‘Drona’, and ‘Spirit’ helped her become a familiar face in Malayalam cinema.

Kaniha has worked with all the A-listers in M-Town, and some of her recent Malayalam releases were Mammootty starrer ‘CBI 5: The Brain’, and Suresh Gopi starrer ‘Paappan’.
