Sanal Kumar Sasidharan directorial 'Chola' finally gets a release date. The makers have announced that the movie will hit the screens on December 6. While announcing the release date, Joju George also revealed that noted Tamil filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj is joining the team. Karthik Subbaraj has associated with the team as a co-producer. He is bankrolling the movie along with Joju George.
'Chola' tells the story of an adolescent schoolgirl and her teenage lover going for a trip to the town.Starring Joju George, Nimisha Sajayan and Akhil Vishwanath, the movie was screened at the Venice Film Festival, and Nimisha Sajayan also bagged Kerala State film award for Best Actress for the same. The movie also opened positive reviews while the screening at the Venice Film Festival. As the critically acclaimed movie is finally hitting the screens on December 6, the film lunatics have higher hopes for the movie.
