‘Standup’ is the second directorial of journalist turned filmmaker Vidhu Vincent. The film is bankrolled by Anto Joseph under the banner of Anto Joseph Film Company. The film narrates the story of a girl who has been raped and how everyone, except her friend standup comedian Keerthi, tries to silence her. ‘Standup’ talks about how the victim tries to survive. The story is scripted by Umesh Omanakuttan, Tobin Thomas has cranked the lens while Christy Sebastian is the editor for the film. With Nimisha Sajayan and Rajisha Vijayan essaying the leads, ‘Standup’ has hit the screens on December 13.
