Keerthy Suresh beautifully recreates her mother’s bridal look; see pics

Actor Keerthy Suresh delighted fans by sharing a special moment from her wedding, where she recreated her mother Menaka Suresh’s bridal look. The actress, who married Antony Thattil on December 11 last year, posted a picture from her wedding album, placing it alongside a nostalgic image of her mother wearing the same saree decades ago.


Sharing a series of snaps, the ‘Baby John’ actress wrote, “he Poem that I adorned… இதயம் ரெண்டும் இசையெனவே இன்றே இன்றே இணைகிறதே நட்பே காதல் துணையெனவே காலம் எல்லாம் வருகிறதே #TieingAKnotInMadisar #ForTheLoveOfNyke.”



For the occasion, Keerthy chose a stunning red-toned saree adorned with intricate silver floral motifs and shimmering zari embroidery. She paired it with a matching blouse featuring similar detailing. Completing her look, she accessorized with a diamond necklace, matching earrings, a maang tikka, and a set of elegant bangles.

Speaking about the inspiration behind her bridal attire, Keerthy revealed in an interview with Galatta India that the saree was originally worn by her mother on her wedding day. “It’s my mom’s wedding saree, and I refurbished it. Anita Dongre did it, and she’s done it beautifully,” she shared. Keerthy also reminisced about finding the saree unexpectedly, as it was not part of her initial plan.

The actress praised her mother for preserving the saree so well over the years and expressed her joy in wearing something so sentimental.

Fans and well-wishers showered Keerthy with admiration for honoring tradition while adding her own elegant touch. Keerthy’s recent post was flooded with several comments.
