Khalid Rahman’s movie featuring Shine Tom Chacko and Rajisha Vijayan goes on the floors

The last week of June seems to be like the resurrection of Malayalam cinema. The industry is in a phase of overcoming the gloomy days of coronavirus pandemic. ‘Unda’ director Khalid Rahmaan has announced his next yesterday and the movie has gone on floors today! The yet-to-be titled film will feature Shine Tom Chacko and Rajisha Vijayan in lead roles. The makers have started filming, following all the health protocols issued by the government, apropos the pandemic.

Check out the puja stills.Written and directed by Khalid Rahman of the ‘Unda’ fame, the movie is backed by Ashiq Usman’s production company. The film also marks the 10th project of Ashiq Usman. Jimshi Khalid is the cinematographer for the movie and Noufal Abdullah has been roped in as the editor. Yakzan Gary Pereira and Neha S Nair are handling the music department. Popular art director Gokul Das has also signed in for the project.

Apart from Shine Tom Chacko and Rajisha Vijayan, actors Veena Nandakumar, Sudhy Kopa, Gokulan, and Johny Antony will also be seen in pivotal roles. Meanwhile, it is being said that the filming is happening in the full swing and the team is equipped with all safety measures.

Khalid Rahman has earlier worked with Rajisha Vijayan for his debut directorial ‘Anuraga Karikkin Vellam’. The director’s recent movie was the Mammootty-starrer ‘Unda’. The movie portrayed a troupe of cops getting assigned for election duty at a Maoist area in Bastar. Shine Tom Chacko also essayed a pivotal role in the film.
