With a unique mystery theme and stunning performances, the director Dinjith Ayyathan’s recently released film ‘Kishkindha Kaandam’ has already turned out to be a box office success.

According to the Sacnilk website, ‘Kishkindha Kaandam’ has collected Rs 69.25 crore worldwide in 22 days and the India Net collections stand at Rs 37.08 crore. The India Gross collections for the same time frame is Rs 43.25 crore and the Overseas collections are Rs 26 crore.

Coming to the day wise collections, the Asif Ali starrer has minted Rs 33 crore as per early estimates on day 22 and the Malayalam Net collections stand at Rs 37.08 crores. Overall, the movie is doing an impressive business at the box office. With the weekend ahead, it can be expected that the movie will manage to mint more numbers.

‘Kishkindha Kaandam’ is a mystery thriller and the story revolves around strange events that happen in a monkey-inhabited high range village where a gun goes missing and the newly wedded pair decide to unveil the mystery behind it. For those who love a Nolan style mystery flick, ‘Kishkindha Kaandam’ will be a treat. The movie also has a good and shocking climax.

‘Kishkindha Kaandam’ hit the big screens on September 12 along with Tovino’s period action film ‘ARM’ which is also doing good business at the box office along with rave reviews. Starring Tovino Thomas in triple roles, ‘ARM’ is directed by the debutant Jithin Laal and marks the Malayalam debut of the south actress Krithi Shetty.
