Asif Ali is all set to play an investigative police officer in the upcoming
Rajeev Ravi film ‘
Kuttavum Shikshayum
’. Recently the makers announce that the film will be released on May 27.
Actor-director Geethu Mohandas took to her official Facebook handle to announce the release date of the film. Sharing a new poster from the Rajeev Ravi’s film, the actor penned a note that read, “Rajeev Ravi’s Crime and Punishment with his stunning performers.” Asif

‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ is penned down by the ‘Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum’ fame Sibi Thomas who is a real-life policeman and the story is based on a real incident that happened in Kasargod in 2015. Sreejith Divakaran is also the co-scenarist of the film whose story revolves around a jewelry robbery that occurred in Kasargod and a team of 5 police inspectors was assigned to investigate the case. Asif Ali plays the main police officer in the 5 member team who risks their lives to catch the culprits.

Apart from Asif Ali, ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ also showcases the actors Sunny Wayne, Sharafudheen, Alencier Ley Lopez, and Senthil Krishna who will be playing the 5 member cop team in the film.
The renowned director Rajeev Ravi has yet another project with Nivin Pauly which is titled ‘
Thuramukham
’ and the release date of the film is not yet confirmed by the makers. The film also has the actors Indrajith Sukumaran, Sudev Nair, Poornima Indrajith, Nimisha Sajayan, Arjun Asokan, Darshana Rajendran, and Manikandan R Achari in pivotal roles.
