Bankrolled by Shibu Baby John

It was announced recently that the former minister Shibu Baby John is turning into a film producer and Mohanlal will headline his debut production venture. Also Mohanlal’s ‘L353’ is said to be mounted on a large scale. Both Shibu Baby John and Mohanlal had a 35-year long friendship and also Shibu Baby John reportedly said that he is starting his new production venture with the motive of offering good films to the Malayalam film industry.

‘Athiran’ director

Mohanlal’s ‘L353’ will be helmed by Fahadh Faasil’s ‘Athiran’ director Vivek Thomas. According to the sources, Mohanlal was pretty impressed with the storyline conveyed by the newbie director. The reports also say that Mohanlal will play a unique role in the movie that could unveil his full acting potential on-screen. 'L353' will reportedly be having all the elements that could satisfy a movie buff.

Director Vivek Thomas has already made the audience in awe with the suspense thriller ‘Athiran’ and according to the reports, ‘L353’ is said to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller. Vivek Thomas’ ‘Athiran’ had the actors Fahadh Faasil and Sai Pallavi in lead roles and the film also earned big at the box office. It is indeed exciting that the director is helming another thriller with Mohanlal in the lead role.

After ‘Ram’ and ‘Barroz’

Mohanlal will be joining the shoot for ‘L353’ after completing the shoots for his upcoming movies ‘Barroz: Guardian of D’Gama’s Treasure’ and ‘Ram’. Mohanlal will be heading to Thailand and Portugal soon for the filming of 2 song sequences in his maiden directorial venture which is touted as a fantasy entertainer. Mohanlal will be joining the shoot of Jeethu Joseph’s ‘Ram’ after completing the works of ‘Barroz’.
