Lakshmi Gopalaswamy offers prayers at Sree Padmanabha Swamy temple

Padmanabha Swamy Temple

is one of the world's richest and centuries-old Hindu shrines. Lakshmi Gopalaswamy who is shooting for ‘Salute’ in Trivandrum visited the shrine on Monday and offered prayers to Lord Vishnu.

The actress opted for a traditional Kerala Kasavu saree to wear to the temple and looked her ethnic best in the attire.

“What better way than to start the morning by visiting the beautiful Sri Padmanabha Swamy temple and for that matter any beautiful place of worship. ‘Salute’ is directed by Rosshan Andrrews. Dulquer Salmaan is bankrolling the film under his home banner Wayfarer films. The film also marks Dulquer Salmaan’s fifth production venture.

Bobby-Sanjay

is scripting the film. Aslam K Purayil is the cinematographer and National award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad is in charge of the edits. Santosh Narayanan is composing the music and Cyril Kuruvila is the production designer.

Dulquer Salmaan is playing the lead role of Aravind Karunakaran, a police officer, while Bollywood beauty DianaPenty has roped in as the leading lady. The actress is also marking her debut in Malayalam cinema with ‘Salute’. Lakshmi Gopalaswamy and Manoj K Jayan have roped in to play some pivotal roles in the film.
