Lena is “safe” amid new coronavirus restrictions in the UK
Lena, who is in the UK shooting for British-Indian production Footprints on Water, spoke about the further restrictions imposed on the country because of the new coronavirus strain that was detected there. The new strain, which was reported about on the media on Sunday, is said to be highly contagious, causing Prime Minister Boris Johnson to clamp down a stricter lockdown - moving from tier 3 to tier 4 lockdown - in some areas, which is expected to make for a quieter Christmas.
Speaking briefly about the situation and sharing a “surprise” with her social media followers, the actress said, “There are a lot of changes in the country, in terms of covid restrictions, because of the new coronavirus strain.

The Indian government has also stopped flights till December 31. I guess it’s a wait and watch situation.”

While it is the southeast of the country which has been affected, Lena is shooting in Birmingham, which is in the midlands and she pointed out that the area still has fewer restrictions than areas such as London. “We are not in tier 4; the new strain has not been recorded here. So, I am staying safe,” she said.
Then, she shared a “surprise” news. The actor, who sports a couple of elaborate tattoos on her arm, was further getting a “half sleeve”. “I am at the saloon of an award-winning tattoo artist and in my next video, I will show you the end result,” she said.
Lena is playing Sudha in Nathalia Syam’s film, with Adil Shah as her co-star. The film also has Nimisha Sajayan.
