Asif Ali and Amala Paul’s latest film, ‘Level Cross’, has seen modest earnings at the box office. On its 14th day, the film has reportedly collected just Rs 3 lakh from the Kerala Box Office (KBO).
According to the Sacnilk website, the movie has collected a total of Rs 1.46 crore from the Malayalam Net Box Office and Rs 1.38 crore worldwide over the past two weeks. Despite the ongoing small daily collections, the overall figures appear reasonable given the film's budget.
‘Level Cross’, written and directed by Arfaz Ayub, who previously worked as an associate director with Jeethu Joseph on ‘Drishyam’, is set in a fictional town and was primarily shot in Tunisia. The film’s dialogues were penned by Adam Ayub, Arfaz Ayub’s father. The movie features cinematography by Appu Prabhakar, music by Vishal Chandrashekhar, and editing by Deepu Joseph.
In terms of its performance, the film has not made a significant impact but continues to perform steadily. The collection figures indicate a slow but steady momentum.
Looking ahead, Asif Ali's next project is the comedy-drama ‘Adios Amigo', slated for release on August 9. The film follows the story of two strangers who embark on a journey together and form an unexpected friendship. Suraj Venjaramoodu stars as a man facing financial struggles, while Asif Ali’s character is a carefree individual with a strong background.
