‘Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra’ box office collections day 14: Kalyani Priyadarshan’s film is unstoppable; mints more than Rs 97 crores

Kalyani Priyadarshan and the director Dominic Arun have struck gold with their fantasy superhero flick ‘Lokah: Chapter 1- Chandra’. According to the latest reports, the movie has crossed Rs 97 crores at the Indian net.As reported by the Sacnilk website, ‘Lokah’ has collected Rs 4.25 crores from India on its 14th day run in theatres, according to the early estimates. Adding this figure, the present collections for the Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer amount to Rs 97.75 crores.The movie had an impressive week one collection, which stood at Rs 54.7 crores, where Rs 42.45 crores were from the Malayalam region, Rs 5.05 crores from Tamil, Rs 7.05 crores from Telugu, and only Rs 15 lakhs from Hindi. Later on day 9, the film minted Rs 7.65 crores, day 10 it minted Rs 10 crores, day 11 it minted Rs 10.15 crores, day 12 it collected Rs 5.9 crores, Rs 5.1 crores on day 13.On the negative side, even though the Bollywood stars like Alia Bhat, Akshay Kumar, and several others have praised the movie. It seems that ‘Lokah’ has not found a steady ground in Hindi regions yet.Coming to the occupancy rates, the movie had an overall 41.32 percentage Malayalam occupancy on day 14 with morning shows at 22.07 percent, afternoon shows at 34.96 percent, evening shows at 49.41 percent and night shows at 58.82 percentage.
