After the critically acclaimed film ‘Lukka Chuppi’, the director Bash Mohammed is all set for his upcoming film ‘Love Jihad’. Recently the director released the first teaser from the movie via his official Instagram handle.

The 30 seconds teaser features the actors Lena and Siddique who will be playing the characters Sulu and Kareem respectively in the film ‘Love Jihad’.

Previously the makers unveiled the character look poster for Suraj Venjaramoodu who is playing an insurance agent character named Balu in the film. The story of the film is set in Dubai and revolves around two middle-class expatriate families of different religions.

In an exclusive interview with ETimes, the director Bash Mohammed said that the movie takes a light-hearted, sarcastic look at how people are so caught up with caste, color, gender, and several other matters. He further added that the film is a complete family entertainer which could be relatable to all the mothers. He also told that the film is executed in a very realistic style and also is a performance-oriented movie.

Prakash Velayudhan will crank the lens for ‘Love Jihad’ whereas the music of the film will be composed by Shaan Rahman under the lyrics penned down by Harinarayanan.

‘Love Jihad’ has a battalion of talented cast that includes Suraj Venjaramoodu, Lena, Siddique, Meera Nandan, and Gayathri Arun.

Bash Mohammed's previous film 'Lukka Chuppi' was released in the year 2015 and clicked with the audience for its subject matter and the performances from the leads. The film featured the actors Jayasurya, Murali Gopy, Joju George and Dinesh Prabhakar in pivotal roles.
