Madhoo says her character in ‘Ennittu Avasanam’ is contemporary and modern

is all set to come back to Malayalam industry, through the film titled ‘

Ennittu Avasanam

,’ directed by ‘Vikruthi’ fame filmmaker Emcy Joseph.

In an interview given to a prominent English daily, Madhoo recently said that her character in the film is not like anything she has done so far, and that its modern and contemporary. Earlier, director Emcy had told us, “She will be playing a bold, raw character in this film. We have seen her mostly in glamorous roles but this would be more on the realistic side. After a suggestion came from our production side that she would be suited for the role, we contacted her, presented the story and right away, she said she was excited to join the project.”

The movie also has Anna Ben and Arjun Ashokan in major roles. The director had also told us about the film, "Ennittu Avasanam is a feel-good film and we are planning to begin the shoot in February. Kerala will be the main location and we are planning the film as a mid-2021 release.”

Madhoo had appeared as a celebrity judge in the dance reality show D4 Junior v/s Senior in Malayalam, in 2017. The actress also has the bilingual film 'Thalaivi' coming up, in which she reportedly portrays the character of Janaki Ramachandran. Emcy had also revealed that unlike 'Vikruthi,' ‘Ennittu Avasanam’ won’t be entirely based on a real-life event. That said, it would have parts that are inspired by actual incidents.
