Malavika Mohanan changes her Twitter name to ‘Christy’
Malavika Mohanan and Mathew Thomas starrer ‘Christy’ is in the cinemas finally. The film got released worldwide today (Feb 17) and looks like Malavika Mohanan is quite thrilled to be back to M-Town. ‘Christy’ marks Malavika Mohanan’s return to Malayalam cinema after five years. As the film has hit the big screens today, Malavika Mohanan has also changed her Twitter name to ‘Christy’.

It is worth mentioning that earlier, ahead of Mani Ratnam’s film ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ release, actors Vikram and Trisha had changed their names on Twitter with the characters they play in the magnum opus. Malavika Mohanan too seems to have jumped on the bandwagon and has left no stone unturned to promote her film.
Directed by Alvin Henry, ‘Christy’ tells a forbidden love story of a young boy, who falls for an older woman. Malavika Mohanan and Mathew Thomas play the roles of Christy and Roy respectively. The makers had managed to create a buzz with its teaser, trailer, and song ahead of the release. The film has music by Govind Vasantha. The initial reports of ‘Christy’ are immensely positive. Reportedly, the film has opened to house full shows in a few centers as well.

Music simply blends with cinematography. Characters are living naturally. If you don't like the theme you can sleep peacefully, as sound of bullets won’t bother you. Finally there is a message in the last scene - "life has to go on and on and on....' After all its a true story.Read allPost comment
