Malayalam actor Kottayam Nazeer hospitalized due to chest pain

Malayalam actor-comedian Kottayam Nazeer has been hopitalized, after he complained of chest pain and physical discomfort. The actor was admitted to a private hospital in Kottayam on Sunday (Feb 26) morning and took an angiogram test. As per the reports, Kottayam Nazeer is under observation in the intensive care unit (ICU), and his condition is stable.
A popular face for both the television audience and moviegoers, Kottayam Nazeer began his journey in the entertainment industry as a stage artist.He started off as a mimicry artist and soon ventured into Malayalam cinema by the mid-1990s. At the beginning of his career as an actor, he was offered supporting roles, however, eventually, he garnered the likes of the audience and filmmakers.
Kottayam Nazeer is also a popular television presenter and has been part of some of the popular television shows in Malayalam.
A man of many talents, Kottayam Nazeer has also proved his talent in painting. In 2018, he organized an exhibition wherein he put his artwork on display. Kottayam Nazeer had a penchant for painting from a very young age. And needless to say that his works grabbed eyeballs for all the right reasons.

On the work front, Kottayam Nazeer’s recent release was ‘Rorschach’, which had Mammootty in the lead role. He essayed the role of Shashankan in the film, and won the hearts of the audience with his intense performance.
