Mollywood actor Rajesh Madhavan who has played several memorable roles in movies from ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram’ to ‘Android Kunjappan’, recently tied the knot with Deepti Karat who is a production designer and assistant director.
The wedding pictures of Rajesh Madhavan and Deepti are making the rounds on social media with celebrities and netizens wishing them as they enter a new phase in their life.
On the work front, Rajesh Madhavan made his acting debut with Dileesh Pothan’s directorial ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram’ where he played the role of a cycle boy. Rajesh Madhavan’s brief role in ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram’ gave him much traction and he later played a pivotal role in the Kunchacko Boban starrer ‘Android Kunjappan’ as the character named Vinu.
Later on, Rajesh Madhavan played several comedic and serious roles which received good responses from the audiences.
Rajesh Madhavan’s previous outing was with the film ‘Her’. He also played a pivotal role in the Kunchacko Boban’s recent release ‘Grrrr…’. Etimes rated the film with 2.5 out of 5-star rating and our review read, “The film points out various issues in government systems through humor and not in a dismissive manner. The way government officials shirk responsibility, improper running of government offices, incompetent structure from top to bottom in the system, alcoholism, blind belief, and harming your own body in the name of rituals, etc feature in the film but nowhere is the director confrontational, which keeps the film successfully lighthearted.”
Looking ahead, Rajesh Madhavan has several highly awaited movies including ‘Marana Mass’, and ‘Dheeran’.
On the other hand, Deepti Karat has worked as an assistant director in several movies including ‘Sureshinteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hridayahariyaya Pranayakatha’, ‘Nna, Thaan Case Kodu’, ‘Careful’, and many others. She has also worked as the third assistant director for the Hindi tv series ‘Dahaad’.
