Mamitha Baiju and Nivin Pauly’s ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ goes on floors under director Girish AD

Mamitha Baiju, who was last seen in 'Dude' and is gearing up for 'Jananayagan' alongside Vijay, has begun shooting for her upcoming Malayalam film Bethlehem Kudumba Unit. The movie pairs her with Nivin Pauly and marks a fresh collaboration under director Girish AD. The project went on floors on Friday.

Shooting begins with a traditional ceremony

The makers kicked off the shoot of 'Bethlehem Kudumba Unit' with a traditional pooja ceremony. As the makers posted photos from the ceremony on Social media with caption, “Bhavana Studios kicks off the New Year with the production of Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, a Rom Com by Girish AD, starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju �� Wishing you all a year filled with Love, Laughter and Happiness. ✨ Stay Tuned for more updates !”. This banner previously backed Girish AD’s blockbuster 'Premalu.' For Mamitha, the film marks a return to Malayalam cinema after gaining pan-Indian attention and is also the third collaboration with the director after 'Super Sharanya' and 'Premalu.'

A familiar yet exciting cast lineup

The film brings together a cast that blends freshness with experience. Alongside Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju, Sangeeth Prathap plays a prominent role, continuing his association with the director after 'Premalu.' The supporting ensemble features Suresh Krishna, Bindu Panicker, Vinay Fort, Roshan Shanavas, Srinda, Shyam Mohan, and Shameer Khan.

A trusted technical crew reunites

Girish AD reunites with his 'Premalu' co-writer Kiran Josey for this project. The core technical team also returns. Vishnu Vijay composed the music. Ajmal Sabu handles cinematography. Akash Joseph Varghese oversees editing. Lyrics are written by Vinayak Sasikumar, while Aashiq S leads art direction. Costumes and make-up are managed by Dhanya Balakrishnan and Ronex Xavier.

ivin Pauly’s recent release, 'Sarvam Maya,' continues its successful theatrical run. He also has 'Baby Girl' with director Arun Varma and a political drama with B. Unnikrishnan lined up. Mamitha Baiju awaits the release of 'Jananayagan' alongside Vijay and has a Suriya movie directed by Venky Bhaskar. In Malayalam, she has signed Dinoy Paulose’s directorial debut, with Sangeeth Prathap.
