Mammootty joins the sets of his next helmed by Roby Varghese Raj

Mammootty has kickstarted 2023 on an enthusiastic note. The superstar joined the sets of his upcoming film directed by Roby Varghese Raj on the first day (Jan 1) of 2023. Mammootty was seen decked up in a black shirt with a statement print, teamed up with a white dhoti, and looking dashing as always. The superstar welcomed the New Year 2023 along with his co-stars and crew. They marked the occasion with a cake-cutting ceremony and the makers have now shared glimpses of the celebration.

“A New Year with new hopes and new expectations ♥️ Glimpses from the new year celebrations held at the sets of Mammootty Kampany Production No.4 yesterday with our own Mammukka as he joined the sets for his schedule ��,” the production house tweeted.

Directed by cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Roby Varghese Raj, the upcoming untitled film is said to be an investigative thriller. Muhammed Shafi is crafting the story for the film, he is co-scripting it with Rony David Raj. Sushin Shyam is in charge of the music department and Muhammed Rahil has roped in as the cinematographer. The editing is done by Praveen Prabhakar.

Videos and pictures of Mammootty from the sets of the film are going viral on the internet.

Meanwhile, Mammootty is currently awaiting the release of ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’ directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. The film had its world premiere at the 27th edition of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) and received a thundering response.
