Mammootty joins the sets of Jithin K Jose’s directorial, see pic

Mammootty is all set to team up with the actor Vinayakan after a long gap for the upcoming film which is directed by Jithin K Jose. Now the superstar has joined the sets of the film in Nagercoil.

Mammootty shared a picture from the sets of the film via his Twitter handle and penned a note saying that he has joined the sets. The picture which features Mammootty and Vinayan having a candid conversation was shared on Twitter with a caption that read, “Joined the Sets of @MKampanyOffl Production No.7 at Nagercoil.”


The production house also shared the picture via Twitter and penned a note that read, Our Dearest @mammukka Joined the sets of #MammoottyKampany Production No.7 at Nagercoil Today.” Netizens were quick to notice a new appearance of Mammootty in the picture, with his hair combed backwards.

The untitled film started rolling in Nagercoil on September 26 and earlier the makers had unveiled the shoot update on Twitter handle with a note that read, “Commencing our 7th production by Mammootty Kampany! Directed by Jithin K Jose, with a Pooja ceremony at Nagercoil. Starring @mammukka & Vinayakan. Stay tuned for more updates !!!”

According to the reports, Mammootty will be playing a grey-shaded character in the movie opposite the ‘Jailer’ actor. The debut director Jithin had previously penned the script for the Dulquer Salman starrer crime drama movie ‘Kurup’, and the expectations for this untitled project starring Mammootty and Vinayakan in the lead, are high among the audiences for all the right reasons.

Previously Mammootty played an antagonist role in the horror drama movie ‘Bramayugam’ and the actor stunned the audiences with his magnificent performance in the movie.
