Mammootty mourns Jenson's loss, extends support to Sruthi following devastating accident

Mammootty has expressed his deep sorrow following the tragic passing of Jenson, who had been a pillar of support for Sruthi, a woman who recently lost nine members of her family in the Wayanad landslide. Jenson had been fighting for his life after a severe road accident, but despite widespread prayers and hopes for his recovery, he succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday night (September 11).

In response to the heartbreaking news, Mammootty took to Facebook to express his condolences. He shared a message in Malayalam that translates to: "Jenson's demise brings great sadness... The pain Sruthi is enduring is unimaginable. May Sruthi and Jenson’s loved ones find the strength to bear this immense loss.”



Jenson, a resident of Andoor, Ambalavayal, was critically injured when the Omni van he was driving collided with a bus near Vellaramkunnu on the Kozhikode-Kollegal National Highway at 3:30 pm on Tuesday. The tragic accident claimed his life and left eight members of Sruthi's family, including Sruthi herself, injured. The victims were immediately rushed to Meppadi WIMS Medical College for treatment, but Jenson's condition deteriorated, leading to his death the following night.

As news of Jenson’s condition spread, the state of Kerala rallied in support of Sruthi, hoping for Jenson’s recovery given the immense losses Sruthi has already endured. Jenson had been a steadfast support for Sruthi, who lost nine family members in a devastating landslide in Wayanad earlier this year.
