India is celebrating its 75th year of Independence on August 15 and two days before the big day, several celebs have become part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign by hoisting the prestigious tricolor Indian flag.

Mollywood superstar Mammootty hoisted the tricolor flag at his residence as part of the campaign. The picture of Mammootty near the national flag was shared by his personal assistant cum makeup man George Mammootty via his official Instagram handle. Previously Mammootty also changed his Facebook profile picture to the Indian tricolor flag as Narendra Modi urged every social media user to do so.

Suresh Gopi, who is basking in the success of his recently released investigative thriller ‘Paappan’, also joined ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign as he hoisted the national flag at his house in Sasthamangalam. The actor’s wife Radhika and Suresh Gopi later offered floral tributes.

Mollywood actor Jayaram also became part of the Prime Minister’s campaign as he hoisted the national flag at his residence. The ‘Makal’ actor shared a video on his Instagram handle and penned a note that read, “75 years of independence. Proud to be living for 57 years in this country.”

Mohanlal hoisted the national flag at his residence in Kerala and he reportedly said to the media that he is proudly participating in ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to commemorate the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence Day. Mohanlal is currently shooting for his next 'Ram' which is directed by the 'Drishyam' and '12th Man' fame Jeethu Joseph.
