Mammootty’s ‘Bazooka’ falls victim to online piracy hours after release; Full movie leaked in HD

Mammootty’s much-anticipated action thriller ‘Bazooka’, which hit theatres on April 10, has unfortunately fallen prey to online piracy.


Directed by debutant Deeno Dennis, the film opened to a strong response at the box office but is now facing a major setback due to the widespread circulation of pirated versions on illegal websites.


Leaked in multiple formats

According to India Times reports, the film has been leaked in multiple formats—including 1080p, 720p, 480p, 360p, and 240p. Keywords such as “Bazooka Movie Download,” “Bazooka Tamilrockers,” and “Bazooka Telegram Links” have surged in online searches, indicating a spike in piracy-related activity surrounding the film.

Will it affect the box office performance?

Despite ‘Bazooka’ earning Rs 3.25 crore on its opening day, the sudden leak threatens to impact its box office performance in the coming days. On the positive side, the film is said to be best experienced in theatres, so this may prevent audiences from downloading it through piracy sites.

More victims

Movies leaking online has been an issue recently in the Malayalam film industry. Several films such as Tovino Thomas starrer ‘ARM’, Basil Joseph’s ‘Sookshmadarshini’, ‘Ponman’ and others were also leaked online hours after the theatrical release.

Bazooka features Mammootty in a high-octane role alongside Gautham Vasudev Menon, with the plot revolving around a cop-businessman duo tracking a serial killer. The film’s gritty action sequences and strong performances have received praise from initial viewers. There are also mixed reviews from the audiences who are not satisfied with the making style.

On the other hand, Mammootty’s previous outing was the investigative film ‘Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse’.
