Mammootty’s ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ to release on OTT on THIS day

After the successful theatrical run, Mammootty’s

Bheeshma Parvam

is heading towards its OTT release. Recently the makers announced that ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ will be streaming on a popular OTT platform from April 1 onwards.

‘Bheeshma Parvam’ hit the screens on March 3rd and the film gained a fabulous response from the audience. The director Amal Neerad got much adulation for elevating a normal story with his exceptional making style. Mammootty unveiled his acting prowess as the character Michael and the actors Shine Tom Chacko and Soubin Shahir was inundated with praise for flawlessly performing the characters Peter and Ajas respectively.

has clear references from the epic ‘Mahabharata’ and the classic Hollywood gangster film ‘The Godfather’. ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ tells the story of the most influential family in Kochi named Anjootti kudumbam and Mammootty’s character Michael holds the superior position in the family. The plot develops as the family starts eroding due to internal clashes among the members. The movie is stacked with an engaging screenplay coupled with terrific performances and well-paced elevation sequences.

The expectations were sky-high for ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ as the director Amal Neerad was teaming up with Mammootty after a long gap. The ace director kept his promise with ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ and the film crossed 50 cr at the box office after one week of its initial release.

‘Bheeshma Parvam’ had an ensemble cast that included Sreenath Bhasi, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Veena Nandhakumar, Anagha, Nadia Moidu, Pauly Valsan, Dileesh Pothan, and Jinu Joseph.

Meanwhile, Mammootty has a lot of highly ambitious projects to release this year that include ‘CBI 5: The Brain’, ‘Puzhu’, and ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’.
