Mammootty's 'Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse' shines on OTT; Gautham Menon says, 'I'm thinking 'Finally' and 'long due'

'Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse' did not get much attention when it was released in theatres. Many people missed watching it on the big screen. But things changed after the film started streaming on OTT last month. Slowly, people began watching it at home. And slowly, good talk started spreading.

Now, the film is courting love from all quarters. They are praising the story, the mood, and especially Mammootty's lead character Dominic.Gautham Menon took to Instagram to share his gratitude for the love the movie is getting.

Responding to the warm reception, Gautham Vasudev Menon shared a handwritten note on social media. He thanked everyone who watched the film and spoke about it.



He wrote, "Thank you for the overwhelming response to my film, Dominic and the Ladies' Purse. I've been hearing some really good things about the film and that there's been lots of viewership across homes."

He also spoke about how relieved he feels now. He said, "I'm thinking 'finally' and 'long due.' A big thanks and shout out to the Mammookka."

Our official ETimes review said, "The film is layered and so are the characters. Gokul Suresh matches Dominic's vibe and so does Viji Venkatesh. The exciting climax makes up for any lethargy one may feel at any point in the film." On the other hand, Mammootty will be next seen in 'Patriot'.
